Ethan is a passionate tutor with over half a decade of experience under his belt, working with students of all ages. With experience ranging from Chinese and English to Math and Earth Science, he strives to create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student's needs.

Ethan’s teaching philosophy centers on building confidence through interactive and engaging lessons, ensuring that students not only grasp the material, but also feel confident in their learning abilities. A key part of his educational philosophy is providing a supportive environment where students feel empowered to challenge themselves, ask questions, and try new learning techniques.

He is dedicated to guiding his students toward academic success while instilling a lasting appreciation for the subject matter, whatever it may be. As rewarding as learning is, it can be very difficult at times. He prides himself on being able to connect with all sorts of students, whether they are ahead in class or are struggling to grasp the material. He also has proven experience working with students with learning disabilities including ADHD and ASD.
He has a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from Middlebury College.
